This application and all information, calculations, recommendations, alerts, reference materials, decision-support features, and other content made available through it (collectively, the “Application”) are provided solely as informational, educational, and clinical reference resources.
The Application is not intended to provide medical advice, establish a diagnosis, direct patient care, prescribe treatment, or replace the independent professional judgment of a qualified and appropriately licensed healthcare professional. It is not a substitute for sound clinical judgment, direct patient assessment, consultation with medical control, applicable laws and regulations, current clinical protocols, institutional policies, manufacturer instructions, professional standards of care, or the user’s authorized scope of practice.
All patient-care decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating healthcare professional. Users must independently evaluate and verify all information produced or displayed by the Application before relying upon it and must consider the patient’s individual history, presentation, condition, contraindications, allergies, medications, available resources, and other clinically relevant circumstances.
The Application does not expand, modify, or authorize any user’s scope of practice or permit any procedure, medication, intervention, or course of treatment that is otherwise prohibited or unauthorized. Where the Application conflicts with applicable law, medical direction, established protocol, institutional policy, professional standards, manufacturer instructions, or the user’s scope of practice, those authorities shall control.
The Application should not be used as the sole basis for any diagnosis, treatment, medication, procedure, transport decision, or other clinical action. It is not designed to replace emergency services or real-time communication with medical control. In an emergency, users must follow applicable emergency procedures and contact the appropriate emergency service or medical authority.
Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide accurate and current information, medical knowledge, protocols, drug information, laws, and standards of care change over time. The creator, developer, owner, publisher, distributor, licensors, contributors, and affiliated parties make no representation or warranty that the Application is complete, accurate, current, error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for any particular patient or purpose, or compliant with every jurisdiction, agency, institution, or professional requirement. The Application is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, title, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the creator, developer, owner, publisher, distributor, licensors, contributors, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, damage, claim, expense, or other consequence arising from or related to the use of, inability to use, misuse of, or reliance upon the Application, including any clinical decision, act, omission, delay, medication error, treatment decision, or deviation from an applicable protocol or standard of care.
This limitation does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence where such liability may not legally be waived.
By accessing or using the Application, the user acknowledges that the Application is only a supplemental resource; accepts full responsibility for independently evaluating its content; agrees to exercise independent professional judgment; and agrees to comply with all applicable laws, medical-control requirements, protocols, policies, standards of care, licensing requirements, and scope-of-practice limitations.

This Privacy Policy explains how [Developer/Company Name] ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Vent Field Ops mobile application (the "App"). It applies only to the App, not to third-party websites or services linked from it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We do not collect:
Your name, email address, phone number or other contact details
Account credentials (the App has no sign-in)
Location data
Contacts, photos, camera or microphone data
Advertising identifiers, or any data used to track you across other apps or websites
Patient information. The App is a reference tool. It is not designed to receive, store or transmit protected health information (PHI) or any information that identifies a patient. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers or other identifiers into any field in the App.
Information stored on your device. Values you enter (such as ventilator settings or calculator inputs) and your App preferences stay on your device. We cannot see this data, and it is not sent to us.
Diagnostic information. If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us anonymized crash reports and usage statistics (such as device model, operating system version and crash logs). This information does not identify you, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings.
How We Use Information
We use the limited diagnostic information described above only to:
Find and fix crashes and bugs
Improve the App's performance and reliability
Understand which device models and operating system versions to support
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message only to respond to you. We do not use any information for advertising, profiling or marketing.
Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or trade information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Apple. The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's handling of your information (downloads, purchases, diagnostics) is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Business transfers. If the App is sold or transferred, any information we hold would transfer under the terms of this policy.
The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics or tracking software development kits (SDKs).
Storage, Retention and Security
Data you enter in the App is stored only on your device, protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and encryption).
Retention. Data in the App stays on your device until you delete it in the App or delete the App. Deleting the App removes all of its data from your device.
Emails. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable support records.
Security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device updated and protected with a passcode.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for trained healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
User Privacy Choices
You control what information, if any, leaves your device. No setting in the App needs to be turned on or off to protect your privacy, and the options below are always available.

Delete data stored in the App
Clear entries in the App, or delete the App to remove all of its data from your device.
Stop sharing crash and usage data
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements and turn off Share With App Developers.
Tracking
The App does not track you across other apps or websites and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Device permissions
The App does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. If a future version asks for a permission, you can grant or revoke it at any time in Settings → Vent Field Ops.
Marketing messages
We do not send marketing emails or push notifications.
Delete your emails to us
Email us and ask us to delete your correspondence and email address from our records.
To exercise any choice that needs our help, email [support email]. We will respond within 30 days.
Your Privacy Rights
Requests. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other US states with privacy laws, or the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to its processing. Because we hold almost no personal information, most requests will concern emails you have sent us. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
International users. If you contact us from outside the United States, your email will be processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above will be updated. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will note it in the App or on our support website.
